|Turkish Bulger & Red Lentil Soup|
My Simple Dahl Recipe
1. Fry 1 small chopped onion, 1 tsp garam masala & 1/2 tsp turmeric until browned.
2. Simmer 1 part red split lentils to 2 parts stock
3. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve with rice or flatbread
Dahl can be 'made runny' with extra stock or blended to make a soup. Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's Turkish Bulger & Red Lentil Soup is a very tasty version of this.
